The power of uplights!

Uplights are by far the most common lighting aspect to 80% or more of our events. There are so many different aesthetics that these lights can help an event achieve.  

If you prefer a simple, elegant, and romantic theme; we set the lights to a beautiful warm amber the entire night. Most commonly, couples go for intimate lighting during their ceremony and dinner and then let the party unfold as the colors start changing to the beat of the music! This is what the Schlumper’s decided to do on their big day, shown below.  

The evening starts out with an inviting champagne color and slowly transitions to an amber as guests arrive for dinner. If you’re looking for a dramatic first dance, we recommend a dark blue as it helps fade everyone else into the background and focus the attention on the two of you. What a fabulous shot of them! Lastly, the fun begins.. color-changing lights get your guests up and onto the dance floor. This really sets the vibe for the rest of the reception.
