Saturday Night Fever

Follow the call to the disco ball…

The Neon District is home to creativity and expression. With murals, art centers and eclectic restaurants all around; this area of Norfolk has become quite an attraction. If you come across a big bright blue building, you’ve reached the Neon House.. and what better theme to tie this area’s aesthetic together than a DISCO.

The venue was covered in the most mirror balls we have ever seen! From scattered on every table to all over the cake, they didn’t miss an inch, including the ceiling! We rigged 10 of our mirror balls at various heights and sizes over the dance floor. Guests could find their seats on handwritten vinyl records and leave the Hampshires a message via voicemail on a vintage telephone. The newlyweds certainly dressed the part as Gifford wore a ruffled tuxedo shirt, vintage blazer and polarized aviators. While the beautiful bride, Kirsten, had the most unique, bright sequinced veil paired with retro heart shaped glasses and pink pumps. I think it’s safe to say that this wedding passed the vibe check.
