Fredrika, originally from Sweden, tied the knot with Aaron on June 3rd., 2023. The couple wed in a nearby church, then headed to the Princess Anne Country Club for a tent celebration on the back lawn. The transformation of this space was nothing short of “magisk” (magic)!
Clear top tents have become very popular, allowing guests to enjoy the night sky as the party goes on. We created focal points at the front and back ends of the tent with white drapery to create an entrance, as well as a backdrop for behind the bar. This helped enclose the space while still giving the illusion of being open with the clear side panels. We embellished the tent poles by adding lush draping.
Over the dance floor hung 7 disco balls, in various sizes and heights, with our largest being 30 inches, spinning in the middle. If there’s any way to set the tone for a dance party, this is it! We added dimension over the head table by adding 1 large vintage chandelier and two medium ones on each side. Not only did they elevate the head party, but added lighting while guests ate.
The Wandering Petal hung greenery around the chandeliers, as well down the mirror ball chains. The greenery in the ceiling space tied together all of the floral arrangements, bringing the vision whole. Amber uplighting hit the top of the tent for dinner, toasts and special dances, then it was all fun colors once the party started!
We highlighted all of the details by installing a dance floor wash and pin spots. The wash illuminated the dance floor during important dances and toasts, helping draw the attention of the guests during those special moments. A pin spot casted a small light onto the wedding cake, allowing it to remain in the spotlight, rather than get lost once the lights started changing colors.
This tent design was one for the books. It was classy and elegant, while still bringing an electric dance party and ambiance. Congratulations to the Fosters’! We are forever grateful to have been a part of your special day.
