Big Fa(B) Greek Wedding

Members of the Saint Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Newport News, Marina & Cody, came to us looking to transform their communal auditorium into the venue of their dreams. With the Hellenic Community Center having over 8,000 square feet, we knew this would be a transformation like no other.

Upon entering, we built a beautiful, custom lattice backdrop, painted in a baby blue to perfectly match the color scheme. Our stock neon sign reading β€œYou’re simply the best” hung over top, with greenery and flowers provided by Jeff’s Flowers. This gave guests a perfect photo opportunity to remember this day forever.

To transform the reception hall into a light and airy, romantic space, we hung white sheer drape in the ceiling, allowing it to continue down the side walls. Twinkle lights gleamed through the fabric overhead to mimic the starry sky. With the dance floor in the center of the room, we made sure to not disappoint with the addition of Grand Swarovski Crystal Chandelier up above. This style chandelier is a must in a room of this size, it is such a showstopper! A custom backdrop, mimicking the drapery and twinkle lights in the ceiling created the sweetheart tables backdrop. It was accompanied by a neon sign we created of the couple’s initials. The best part about getting a custom neon sign through us.. it’s yours forever!

Marina & Cody are competitive dancers, so you know they didn’t disappoint with the theatrics. Our Sparkulars were used not once, but twice. Once, when they couple finished their first dance, and then of course, for their grand exit. This wedding has set the tone for future events in this space, and we are so excited for what’s to come!
